What started with a handful of people doing nursing visits in 1983, Memorial Home Care now employs 450 people in the fields of nursing, therapy, home health aides, homemakers, medical equipment and supplies, oxygen therapy, home infusion, retail pharmacy, extended home medical staffing, and medical staffing.

Memorial Home Care is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health.

In 2007, Memorial Home Care moved to its new 50,000 square foot location at 3355 Douglas Road in South Bend that is a national model of excellence for home care companies. The new facility serves as the foundation building for the full service home care. The main branch also serves satellite operations in LaPorte, Plymouth, Knox and the Family Pharmacy in downtown South Bend.
